Mark S. Kane, CPA has been practicing in Williamsville, NY since 1987. His practice focuses on increasing business owner wealth and organizational effectiveness. The Kane Firm serves as accountants and consultants to several national and regional businesses and professionals. Consulting engagements include both privately held companies and divisions of NYSE companies. The firm also serves a diverse client base in the medical, bio tech, information tech, manufacturing, distribution, and retail arenas. The Kane Firm team includes professionals with a wide range of accounting, tax and business experience. The Kane Firm is well known in Western New York for its success in assisting companies in strategic, operational and administrative roles.
During the mid to late 1990s, Mark maintained a minority interest and held vice presidential positions in sales, operations and finance for a $100 million national auto parts manufacturer and distributor. In these capacities, he achieved extraordinary growth in revenue and profits from developing partnerships with customers and suppliers which reduced costs and added value in the supply chain.

Mathew S. Kane, MS, CPA enjoys working closely with clients’ internal accountants. Specifically, Mathew coaches internal accountants in most aspects of accounting. On a monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis, Mathew reviews the financial statements prepared by clients’ internal accountants; offering advice to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency. Start-up clients seek Mathew’s help in setting up accounting systems as well as implementing preventative and detective internal controls. The majority of Mathew’s accounting systems experience lies in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Sage 50. Mathew often utilizes screen share software to assist clients in troubleshooting accounting system issues.
Mathew also assists clients in performing due diligence during purchase transactions. Mathew dissects financials to identify key issues and questions to be asked of sellers. Mathew’s ultimate goal is to minimize the risk of his clients through a thorough understanding of the story behind the numbers.
